Things to do on a Lazy Saturday

  1. lazyStay at home all day! – don’t even leave the house to get the mail or newspaper
  2. Remain in your pajamas or birthday suit, whichever is most comfortable
  3. Eat all you see – even if you feel a little guilty
  4. Do not wash – hygiene is not important on lazy Saturdays. Its been a long week, you deserve to smell bad
  5. Watch lots of Netflix – This is the best part, getting lost in movies and shows for hours!
  6. Finally, soak it all in, enjoy every moment. The weekend goes by like the blink of an eye.

My Day at the Doctor Horror Story

doctorYesterday I went to the doctor for my annual check up. All was great until they requested that I complete a urine sample. My bladder was on the verge of bursting so I knew it would be an easy task. I quickly filled the cup and tried to place it on the floor. However, I somehow managed to waste my own urine on my foot, and the floor. Naturally, I began to panic, mostly because I was in disbelief. My Sperry’s were soaked, and it was completely obvious. After wiping them, they dried much faster than I anticipated, but the inside remained misty and warm. This is the grossest thing I have ever done to myself. I really need to wash those shoes today.

Feliz Cumpleaños Mom!

IMG_0908[1]My mom deserves a daily celebration, not just on November 3rd. My appreciation for her is  both evident in words and actions.  Our closeness is envied by others because our bond is unwavering. “It’s time to cut the umbilical cord”, many say, failing to realize it is indestructible.  In each others company, love, joy, and laughter are always present. I can’t thank God enough for blessing me with such a spectacular mom. She is a gift, and I hope to be that in return. I love you mom, and Happy Birthday.

Smells Like Teen Spirit

I rebel from rebellion. I will not repeat history, or wear the title of a statistic. I desire to be more than what society expects of me. This is a deceiving stage that swallows many and scars its graduates. The consequences remain consistent, yet people run to this path. I want to roam where the majority is scarce. Some believe that it is part of growing up. But why go through such troublesome when it can be avoided? My free will is an asset to my life not a curse.
